The WIDE Goalie/Sled Blade Holder is for 4mm blades. PLEASE NOTE - 3 mm blades are typically NON-removable steel blades from older model goal skates with plastic cowlings. For 3mm steel (common in newer, cowling-less goalie skates), please purchase the Goalie/Sled Blade Holder. Created to work with the Sparx Sharpening System and accommodate all blade types.
Pro Tip
Skate steel is in its straightest state when not mounted in the holder. If you're a stickler for even edges, try removing your blades from the holder and sharpening with the Sparx Blade holder.
