The Bauer Vapor X5 Pro Senior Ice Hockey Skates built for the elite level player is a lightweight stiff package offering quickness and agility. The X5 Pro Skates have some decent upgrades from its predecessor the 3X pro which are the Powerfly Holder, injected facing and pro stock tongue. Starting with the Powerfly holder it is Bauer's best holder to date inspired by the OD1N prototype project to help players increase acceleration with a stiffer front post and enhance their responsiveness through turning and edge work. Choose your steel performance ('Fly' steel compatible), these skates do not come with steel. The injected facing provides lateral stability and lock of the foot,maximizing responsiveness under quick changes of direction.

The pro stock tongue feels and looks great, it is a 48oz felt that will offer protection and comfort.

Comfortable and better fit: Asymmetrical toe cap, based on analysis of 800,000+ player foot scans, creates a better connection for the player's foot to the boot by minimizing negative space around the toes.

Size Guide

The Bauer Vapor X5 Pro Skates have a 3D Skate Fit, available in full and half sizes along with Fit 1 / low volume and narrow fit, Fit 2 / medium volume and medium width and Fit 3 / high volume and wide fit. Sold in Bauer Box sizes. If your foot is fully grown most players/skaters go one size down from a UK shoe size. If your foot is still growing select the same skate size as your UK shoe size.
