Groins are popping, abdomens herniaiting, and all on top of the regular mix of strains, sprains, breaks, and missing teeth. Right now I have a team in a pool that has a full 25% of the roster and bench players out with injury. I have 4 goalies active and 3 on the bench and only 2 of them are healthy. I can't ice a full healthy team. Hopefully this trend will diminish as the season goes on, and there will be fewer injuries. I call this my "everything I touch dies" phase of the season. The surest way to have a player get injured is for me to activate him on one or more of my teams. So far Miller, Legace, Palffy, Forsberg and Kovalev have been among my biggest losses of the season. Is anybody else getting bit by the injury bug in a fantasy league? __________________ TANK NATION 09-10 : We can't tank we have no draft picks!?! Leafs Fan : WTF is a Draft pick? At one point I had Sergei Fedorov, Alexei Kovalev, Nathan Horton, and Tuomo Ruutu all on IR. It's killed the production from my centers, especially since I thought Ruutu would have a breakout season. Not to mention Fedorov is a shell of his former self. And on another note, I keep kicking myself for dropping Staal from my team early in the year before he caught fire. Brilliant move that's turned out to be. ![]() __________________ |

Rucinsky was hurt for me, Rick Nash hasn't been healthy at all, Shawn Bates is out for a while and Foote is messed up too. In the baseball league we had, the injuries completely decimated my team. At one point I had Clint Barmes, Vlad Guerrero, Randy Wolf, Jason Schmidt, Octavio Dotel, and I think someone else out. They were all ranked in the top 100 before getting injured. __________________ |

I'm suprised I'm doing so well in the league with the goalies I have... They do seem to be up, especially among goalies... just look at Atlanta. |
