Sharks drop ticket prices
TheFourthPeriod.com
The San Jose Sharks have dropped the price of 2005-06 season tickets an average of 10 percent, reports the Mercury News. Fans, however, have to decide whether to renew by July 15, and it's possible the NHL won't be able to guarantee by then that there will be games to watch in October.
That 10 percent average drop really disguises a wide range of savings throughout the building. San Jose's $105 tickets on the glass will be only 2.7 percent cheaper, while the $29 goalie view seats in the upper bowl reflect a 17.1 percent cut.
The Sharks also dropped single-game ticket prices, though at a lower percentage rate than season tickets in all but two categories.
