OTTAWA HOCKEY FANS GET FIRST LOOK AT CROSBY AND TOP PROSPECTS
Ottawa Senators present a prospect clinic and introduction

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators announced that hockey fans will get the first look at the top prospects for the 2005 NHL Entry Draft at two public events Friday, July 29. The 2005 Draft is being held in the Nation?s Capital Saturday, July 30 at the Westin Hotel with television coverage on TSN and RDS starting at noon.

The Reebok Hockey Top Prospects Clinic, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, July 29 at the Bell Sensplex, will feature the 2005 Canadian Hockey League (CHL) most valuable player, Sidney Crosby of the Rimouski Oc?anic, the 2005 CHL rookie of the year Benoit Pouliot of the Sudbury Wolves (OHL), Gilbert Brule of the Vancouver Giants (WHL), Jack Johnson of the U.S. National under-18 team, and Bobby Ryan of the Owen Sound Attack (OHL).

The Reebok Hockey Top Prospects Clinic will see the five prospects joined by 30 minor hockey players, Senators assistant coach Greg Carvel, Bell Sensplex director of hockey program Ron Davidson and Senators players. The first 1,500 fans will receive a free ?Sidney Crosby? poster provided by Reebok.

This event will be followed by the Reebok Hockey Top Prospects Introduction of 20 players from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Major?s Hill Park, across from the National Gallery on Sussex Drive. The first 2,500 fans will receive a free ?Sidney Crosby? poster provided by Reebok.

I might just go hang around in front of the Westin on Saturday and check out the atmopshere and maybe an autograph of whomever the Sens sign..
