I couldn't believe that the United States was sixth yesterday. Is it just me or is it only inevitable that they'll win a World Cup? Hopefully not before England, though.

It's just you. Don't the Americans have such a high ranking bases on the fact that they beat up on such easy competition. Whereas teams like England have to face much tougher European teams on a regular basis, so they don't stand out as much as the States.

The fifa rankings system is a joke! It factors all on exhibition games. So while top notch teams like Italy and England hardly play any friendlys you see the USA beeting trinidad & tobego.

And thats why I've lost all respect for the Fifa rankings but it doesn't bother me anymore. I just cant wait till next June when teams like: England and my Azzurri will shove it in the other countries faces.

Rankings meen nothing , Next June....that meens something! The countdown is on and only a few qualifiers left!

I can't wait until next summer. England has to improve a lot before then. I can think of 2 ways in which this can be achieved: 1) Get rid of Sven, he stays with the same tactics and it is getting old and doesn't work; 2) Sub SWP for Beckham, he is a better player.
