With the Road Runners gone, where will they put all those guys?I still haven't seen who their affiliation will be.BTW,anybody know where JF Plourde and Mike Morrison will be?I know they were under an AHL contract. My family has been trying to keep up with these two since we saw them play with the Cottonmouths.Mike did very well last year but I think with all the politics involved Plourde just didn't get the ice time he needed to prove himself. Our prayers and best wishes are always with them.

I'm hoping desperately that Mike Morrison is re-signed by the Oilers. The guy is looking like he could have a real future in the NHL. As for Plourde, I think he's a victim of numbers due to the split affiliation we will be having next season.
Our prospects will be split between Iowa (Dallas) and Hamilton (Montreal), and Martin St. Pierre will be playing for the Marlies. Most of the vets will be gone. The only other player who has been named for sure is that JDD will be in Hamilton. Insight is that our "A" prospects will be with Hamilton (Pouliot, JF Jacques, Lynch, Woywitka, Winchester, Brodziak, etc...) while our "B" prospects will be in Iowa (Caron, Peterson).
If we resign Morrison (and we better) he will be in Iowa.

Thanks so much. I sure hope Mike gets a good deal in all this too. We got to know him and Plourde and they are both great guys.It really would be awesome to see Mike in the big show one day.
Praying he gets resigned!
On Plourde, hockeysfuture ranks him 17th on the Oilers depth chart at C. If he made it as an every-day AHL'er that'd be an outstanding achievement for him.
