On this day, June 30th in 1982, the Colorado Rockies were transferred from Denver to New Jersey and became the Devils. The Devils were the only team of 21 NHL teams in the 1980's that had a worse winning percentage than the Leafs - (Devils, .346 - Leafs, .374). Wayne Gretzky once labelled the Devils as a "Mickey Mouse" organization.
The Devils have since redeemed themselves with three Stanley Cup championships in nine years between 1995 and 2003. So what club has been the REAL Mickey Mouse organization?

Anaheim? Not anymore. Disney has recently sold them to the Samuelis (http://www.hockeystation.com/showthread.php?t=542).
So what club has been the REAL Mickey Mouse organization? What a shock! Me thinks it's the TML. Am I correct? What do I win?

Unfortunately, gordfish hasn't joined us yet, but I am sure he could verfiy that our Canucks would be in this dubious competition.
And the Leafs are #7 in win percentage over the last decade...:D
