Ok I'm going to get this thing started now...

Channel 4 took over the BBC's pool engine that some of us were in together, and are offering it at the Chanel 4 site - still for free, and apparently some better prizes (BBC's prizes weren't too shabby either).

The way we played the BBC one is exactly the same way the one with Channel 4 is being played. For those of you who are interested but would like to read the rules etc., go Here. (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/fantasy_football/how_to_play/default.stm) That is the BBC's rule explanations.

I realize the EPL season does not start until early August but I think we might be able to get some new joiners here, so read the rules or ask any questions in this thread if you're interested but unsure!

The BBC would do that also so that all entrants could get a feel of each team and how they look on pitch rather than on paper. Glad you're in, what would the league be without the defending title holder?....wanker.

I see what they're doing, but I think it would make more sense to have registration allowed before the season, then have player selections not required until one week has been played. I feel kind of restricted not being able to have an account and check out how things work. Oh well, make sure you remind us on August 17th - I'm liable to forget with it being Fantasy (american) Football draft season too. :)

It works exactly like the BBC one we were in last year Junes. They took it over. At the top of this thread, I posted the links to the rules and etc, go take a refresher.

My 9 points (good for 4th) certainly could be improved upon. Hopefully my squad will produce soon or I'll have to make some changes. I'd like at least 10 poins per week out of the roster. But it's hard to reach that when your strikers don't score. Get going Mr. Defoe and Mr. Drogba!

Official scoring starts September 9th and they bumped up the cap to 55 M pds. Works the same as last season, sign up and use our league PIN 1554 to join into the mayhem.
