Yep, sorry to say.

This company turned out to be a company I want nothing to do with. I'm pretty self sufficient when it comes to managing domains and hosting....

But their system was wacky... and their support sucked. I realized I know more than their support team which is a bad sign. They were blaming problems that were CLEARLY on their end to the vBulletin software... and even advised me to contact vBulletin, as if those guys know how to solve their own issues. :curse:

In addition, their support team is slow to react. They are a big company.

I wasted a day with these idiots. I'm getting my money back.

We will still probably move but not any time soon. I'll think about it later on when I have the time to make a good decision.

Or maybe we'll just stay here and I'll throw more money at it should we need the bandwidth.

I imported all the data from this site to the new location. I could see it there when I accessed the database web interface for my account. The problem was, it was not being seen or recognized outside of it's own sub-domain.

My account's main admin panel was telling me the database was empty which it clearly was not. In addition, my site couldn't find the database either. Meanwhile I'm looking at the data right in front of me.

So I e-mail support, since their way of doing things is quite different from what I'm used to.

Genius #1 tells me that she is certain my database is populated, she double checked, and even double checked my vBulletin config settings. You should contact vBulletin support she tells me.

THANK YOU GENIUS NUMBER ONE... I KNOW THE DATABASE IS POPULATED! I DID IT MYSELF JUST 3 HOURS AGO!

Genius #2 says that genius #1 is a knowledgable tech, and would never tell me the DB was populated without carefully checking it out first.

THANK YOU GENIUS NUMBER TWO... OBVIOUSLY YOU CANNOT COMPREHEND MY PROBLEM EITHER. I DON'T THINK I'M GOING TO WAIT AROUND FOR GENIUS NUMBER THREE! REFUND PLEASE.
