Suns and Knicks to complete trade

It hasn't been made official yet, but the word is the Suns will trade Q-Rich and a conditional number one to the Knicks for Kurt Thomas.

Great trade for the Suns. Marion will move back to the 3 and Kurt Thomas should be a good fit at 4. As for the Knicks, this trade really makes me shake my head. A backcourt of Marbury, Crawford, and Richardson :conspire: Imagine all the shots they'll be jacking up at MSG next season, eh J.R. :nod: Better hope Sweetney has a breakout season, or the Knicks will have no frontcourt presense.

Could be an outstanding deal for the Suns! Look at that lineup:

PG- Nash
SG- Johnson
SF- Marion
PF- Staudamire
C- Thomas

Picking up just what they needed in Thomas and only haveing to give up Q with a draft pick. Brilliant.

It's another foolish move for the Knicks, letting their centre go. Thomas was the only bright spot in a terrible season. I can only hope that Larry Brown will be coaching this disfunctional group next season.
