Normally, ISS would have done its mock draft based on the official order of selection, but since the NHL doesn't currently have an order of selection and will require a lottery to come up with one, ISS decided to proceed with what it thinks might be the process.
Nothing to do with TSN, minus the McKenzie article ;)

TSN has never given two craps about this in the past. Hell, TSN has horrible draft coverage. We get Pierre "Parise is God" McGuire doing the commentary.. joy.

It's a pandering article. The same story could be written for the 29 other teams, or the very least ANY of the 6 Canadian teams. Instead it's written about the one somewhat Canadian team that's got realistically zero chance of drafting him. It's typical pro Leaf pandering nonsense.
