How to Play
Do you have what it takes to survive?
Test your football mettle and prove it! Play Canadian Football Survivor brought to you by Sportsnet.ca. Play it right to the end and you could walk away with a Portable Sony PlayStation! See how long you can stay in the game. The longer you're in, the better your chance of claiming one of the weekly prizes. Once again, it's FREE to play! Here's the game plan:
It's the first step toward becoming the ultimate Canadian Football Survivor!
Note: there's no need to re-register if you previously played one of our fantasy contests. You can use the same username and password to login and play.
Make your pick every week on the contest schedule until your lives run out. Just like Canadian football, this is a three down game:
The concept is simple, pick one team to win each week. If that team wins, you survive to pick again the next week. If not, you lose a "life".
You have three lives to use. Once you have used all three of your lives, you're out. (The sooner you get in the game, the better. If you start in Week 2, you do so with two lives. If you join in Week 3, you start with one life. If Week 4 rolls around and you haven't joined yet, you'll have to remain on the sidelines.)
You can use each team a maximum of three times during the regular season.
If you're the last person standing, you get bragging rights and the Portable Sony PlayStation grand prize package!
Check the Standings each week to see the casualties. Compare your picks with anyone else in the contest once the weekly deadline has passed! Check the Consensus Picks to see which teams are the most popular picks each week.
Create your own office pool and invite your friends to join. Compete against your group members for bragging rights while you battle everyone else for the title of Canadian Football Survivor! You can even trade a bit of trash talk with your fellow group members without getting up from your chair.
Get personal email from the contest with your results after the game and get a reminder before each deadline if you have not already made your pick. If you want to unsubscribe, you can manage all of your contest email preferences from the My Summary page.
