I know this is a repost from HF, but I figured I'd be the first person to post in the Wings forum, just to try and get this place jumpin'. Here is the question: With this year already gone and next year in jeapordy, do you think legendary Wings Captain Steve Yzerman will return to play NHL hockey ever again?

One of my all-time favourite players. But he's not a big guy and he's had health problems and he just turned 40. I wouldn't be surprised if that's it. Unfortunately

No, he won't be back no matter what. Too many serious injuries. When you're 40 it's tough to come back from those.
