Hopefully the Raps land Gerald Green with their 7th pick overall, and maybe Martell Webster will fall to us at 16 :D

Charlotte Bobcats are a new expansion team. They just played their first year. The team in Memphis is the Memphis Grizzlies, formerly the Vancouver Grizzlies.

There's no one in this draft that will turn a team around. Hopefully the raps can do crappy again next year and grab JJ Redick.

Redick isn't anything special. Late first rounder at the most IMO. If the Raps want a good white guy they should take my boy Adam Morrison from Gonzaga. There's a kid that can play :thumb:

As for turning the team around. Gerald Green will take a year or two to develop because he's a high schooler (skill's there, just needs to fill out), but has drawn many comparisions to T-Mac, and Marvin Williams another guy a franchise could build around. Some people say Bogut is the real deal at center, and Williams and Felton could both be all-star point guards in the league. As long as the Raps stay away from Europeans they should be able to find two players in the first round.

My list for who the Raprtors should draft:

1. -- Deron Williams, PG, Illinois
2. -- Ray Felton, PG, North Carolina
3. -- Chris Paul, PG, Wake Forest
4. -- Channing Frye, PF/C, Arizona
5. -- Sean May, PF, North Carolina

Obviously, I would like them to get a guard. In skill Williams, Felton, and Paul are all farily even, however, Paul drops because he seems like a bit of an asshole. Suspensions, attitude problems, something the Raptors really don't need. Frye and May are on the list as well becauase they both really impressed me in the NCAA tourney. I would still prefer the Raps to get a guard but who would complain with either of those guys.
