Ed Chynoweth passed recently. He was the driving force in the Canadian Hockey League ( major Juniors) in Canada and the US for many years. He saved junior hockey and turned it into the leading suplier of talent to the NHL. More importantly he began a scholarship program that allowed players to get an education when thier hockey careers didn't pan out.
