Tonight is yet again a "Big One". They have a chance to close in on the division. After Saurday's game where we learned we actually do have another scoring line. I think the Sedins hit the sheet tonight and Nas/Mo/Pet line continue to shine. I think they stomp the Yotes 4-1 at GM Place.

Edit:
Hmmm...

Morrison/Naslund/Matt Pettinger

MNM line anyone? Too cheesy?

Nice! MNM line....  Cheese....sure but what the heck after that bingo bango bongo line from last year I don't think anything will top that cheese pile.

I am really liking the MNM line, I have a feeling this pettinger trade is going to turn up roses big time. :thumb:

Canucks win 5-2.

Well Henrik and Pyatt put up some big goals tonight. It was great to see Henrik land that knockout punch on Carcillo's stupid penalty.

Ever since we've had Pettinger and watching what Carcillo did tonight, I can't help but think how great it is that Matt Cooke is gone. Carcillo is a guy that as a hockey fan you just hate. He takes stupid violent selfish penalties at the worst time, and his aggresiveness and agitating antics cost his team the game.

Not to say Cooke is on the same level on Carcillo, but I thought Carcillo's reputation preceeded him in a lot of calls the officials gave him tonight. A repurtation like Cooke's or Carcillo's will never give him the benefit of the doubt. Carcillo's undisciplined play cost his team the game tonight.

On the down side was the loss of Mason Raymond: http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=232299&hubname=nhl

I suppose Ryan Shannon sees ice time for a while.
