If the Canucks are to start a push into contention they need the full 2 points from this game. Of course the Oilers feel they too can make a surge and get back into the hunt so the boys in Blue and Green would be smart not to take this team lightly.

The Oilers have been great at GM Place recently, in large part to Garon's play, but I think the Canucks get the two points tonight. 5-2 Vancouver.

I agree. If there is such a thing as a character win, that may have been it. The Oilers decided to get physical the Canucks did not turtle and gave it back and thier best players produced. I am hoping they can carry that work ethic forward over the last weeks of the of the season.

You're right KB, this was a character win if it is such a thing. The Oil really seems to do well for turning our fortunes around when our effort is heading South. This team really came to togethor after pounding the Oil for a couple games in the middle of the season in some big games.

Next weeks games against Minnesota and Nashville are going to be huge. If they win those two games, that's the best four points they can get this month.
