I guess this explains their recent scouting efforts. He is 53% in the circle, so a little help in that area can't hurt, I suppose.

Yeah, I guess this helps..a little bit
Probably nothing more than a rental. I dont think he'll be around come the playoffs

It's kind of interesting timing, as I think both Isbister and Cowan have been medically cleared to return to action. And with Brown being given the number 13, well...that's an indication that he's sticking around.

Mike Brown is not on the ice much, but I think he makes a difference out there for this team. Sure he fights, that's what Badcock likes, and I'm sure he could write an essay about how much of a difference that alone makes a game, but Mike Brown makes me notice him every minute he's out there. He hits in the corners, he hussles, he always seems to take a guy with him to the box. I like what Mike Brown has done, he won't get lingerie on the ice, but he'll play the game hard.
Beech is a meaningless move in my opinion. I don't see Vignealt taking a center out of the lineup for him, and the wing doesn't leave a place for him either. I think this is a move for the Moose now that Jaffray is in Vancouver.
This guy used to be considered a top prospect. Wasn't he in a Jagr deal?

Interesting, another high pick from a few years ago. Tambo was saying last night they hope to give him an opportunity to do what he might not have been able to do elsewhere....something along those lines. And perhaps after last nights game a little spark wont hurt any of them.
