View Full Version : question about Naslund
He is a starting wing on one of my Yahoo teams. But I just read that he's been bounced off the Sedin line.
Do you think he should be benched (from a fantasy standpoint) until further notice?
Only problem is that RW is one of my weakest positions - I'd have to pick up somebody to replace him and there's not much available on the wire.

Naslund has produced this season and is on track to have a better season points wise than last year, and here is the but... His production will be nowhere near what a $6 million player should be producing. I don't think Mason Raymond will stick on the Sedin line, the team was not playing well against the Rangers and Vignealut moved guys around to try to start something.

I think the Kelownamister is right. The line juggling last game was to get people to wake up. It wont be long before he's beside the Twins.

I don't think Raymond is a good fit for the Sedins. I don't think he was much of a factor after he was put on their line last night. Raymond plays a better game off the rush with Pyatt and Jaffray. Naslund has better hockey smarts to play the Sedins cycle game, and I think we'll see him back there before long.
Vigneault has kept the lines pretty solid this season, which is a definate suprise after what he did last season. I think he was moving guys around because the teams scoring dried up for the last five periods when he made the move.

Naslund has 2 goals in his last 17 games and will be lucky to find himself back with the twins this season, so drop him. Methinks Coach V may finally be tiring of Naslund's disappearing acts.
Byron Richie can be a good complement to the twins...
well thanks for the advice. I'm not dropping him just yet buy I am gonna pick up another RW and see how this pans out.
(took JP Dumont, he's put up decent stats as of late - I am hurting on goals and can't afford to wait for guys to break out of slumps)

Well it looks like ( based on the Islander game) that Naslund is on the second line unit wiith Jaffray and Pyatt, although he did score his first goal in a month or so and almost had another.
