View Full Version : No brainer
Now that the hockey world all admits that Alfredsson, Heatley and Spezza are the best players in the league and are equally deserving to win the Hart, the Selke, and hell, every hockey trophy that they are eligible for, and all of our other Senators rookies and veterans are easily better than those other semi-talented losers on the other teams, uh, oh yeah, whew, uh.... should we trade both Chris Kelly, who is easily the best ever in his role, and Foligno, who is obviously destined for greatness - remember I always predict better than anyone so no debate is needed - for Vincent Lecavalier and Martin St. Louis - who would both say in the press that they are lucky to be traded here ... or should we just trade Foligno and a draft pick for them. It's a no-brainer for Tampa I say. This would give Tampa the solid "core" of young stars that they need.

You know, it amazes me that site administrators put up with you as long as they do. You never contribute anything of value to sites, at least when it comes to discussing the one thing that draws us all here in the first place, and that's hockey. I've seen you post on a couple of sites now, and over a 5 year period I can't recall a single post that had one thing to do with hockey.
As I've explained to others in the past, I have no problem with you disagreeing with my points and opinions. But how about manning up and doing it like an adult that might actually have half an original thought every now and then?
Buy hey, I guess every village needs its idiot, right?

Why don't you just phuck....better yet....why don't you take your 'homer glasses' and your reservations and your preperations and stuff them up your troll snout?
HA!
Instead of going for that big-ass HD tv you were suggesting I found a super deal when I was in Mexico. Sure, it's 119 Hz model (not 120 Hz)....but who's counting?

10 pesos for every dollar...I say strike while the iron is hot.

Ah yes... the picture guy. Did I tell you I was the only one east of Lake Scugog who predicted that Nick Foligno would stick with the big team. Oh, and that fortified liquid organic waste would become a popular chick drink?

I'm not quite ready to give up on Chris Kelly.
Lake Scugog eh? I was just in Port Perry.

Looking over Vancouvers roster I notice they need some depth at scoring. So I offer Emery, Robitaille, & Vermette <who are both quite speedy / suited for the West Conf.> for Luongo & I'll let Nonnis throw in Naslund also, I know Vancouver is having a hard time getting rid of him but sometimes you have to give a little to get allot.
EDIT - I also throw in our first & only pick in the 3rd round.

Muckler is no longer the GM so I doubt he gives this away. I would say the best he would do would be Emery & Robitaille. This is generous enough as it is!

Yeah you were at Port Perry. It was reported on ET Canada. You looked fantastic. Was that green suede? As for Chris Kelly... uh, uh, oh.... he's not distorted, he's just short.

Realistic? Okay. No suede? I guess that was Modferret. Or Medferret. I can never tell the difference between identical triplets.

Okay after the traditional 23 days, this poll is now closed. Now the way we do things in Ottawa, to tabulate the results, we will hold a committee selection process over the next three months to select the 12 people who claim to be lawyers who will form a committee to rule on the results. In six months time, the 12 will be sequestered in a downtown location for as many weeks as necessary to reach a unanimous agreement. During this period, there will be puffs of dark smoke emerging from the window from time to time. When agreement is reached, or the 12 forget why they are there, a large puff of white smoke will rise from the window, bells will ring, and the retabulation phase will begin. More details later, but we are used to making important decisions in Ottawa and this will take less than six months and cost $1,000,000....tops. Unless summer unexpectedly arrives, then this will take four months more. Best of luck to ...me.

I think I need to call an inquiry into the selection process you used to arrive at the 12 committee members. Don't worry it will only take 6 lawyers, 4 accountants, and 3 private investigators, 14 months and cost a megre $2.7 million dollars max. I swear.
On my word as a politician.

How about Ottawa trades Daniel Alfredsson to Dallas because they need help at forward and Alfredsson is a playoff choker to San Jose for Matt Carle and Douglass Murray, because Ottawa needs help on their blueline?

Hmm.... I like the return Ottawa gets from Dallas, but I think San Jose can keep their D-men.
