Are we considering only those who played full careers? or can we include those who were dramatically great Regular season and playoff performers, yet had shortened careers?
If we can add shortened careers, add:
Pat LaFontaine
Cam Neely
Pavel Bure
Eric Lindros
Personally, I say remove Linden from your list and add Sundin or Roenick, both of whom are better.

Yeah, Linden still has a chance :D
I'll duck and cover now as the flack begins to rain down on me.;)

How the hell can you put Linden on that list? Someone's been taking an early nip at the eggnog. I could probably come up with 200 names that would be better than Linden.

Seriously this time: Lafontaine, Stasny, Gartner, Oates, Hawerchuck, Dionne, Neely, Perrault, Sittler. There are others but I only foccused on those players I would have like to have seen win it.

That's a pretty sound list. I'll just copy KB's and add Dave Taylor to it.
Here's an interesting question to pin to the heels of Joe's thread starter...who are the top 5 goaltenders to have never won a Cup? Tony Esposito is the obvious first choice (I don't think he ever got a ring in Montreal, but I may be wrong), but I'd have to start scouring the record book to find 4 others. Ron Hextall, maybe?

The goal tender lists is a tough one to put together beacause in my mind there have been many mediocre goalies who have shown flashes of brilliance and may have had a good run that took a team deep, but very few who were consistent over a long haul and snake bit come cup time, unlike the position players noted in earlier posts.

CuJo should be there for sure. He was a top 5 goalie in the NHL for a decade or so, but never even reached the finals iirc.

Dionne is easily the best regular season player who could not get it done in the playoffs. he is like, the only player in the hall who never won a 7 game series^_^

Oates
Stastny
Perreault
Neely
Hawerchuk
Ciccarelli
LaFontaine
Federko
Larmer
All the names mentioned were good or great players.I would add Borje Salming as someone who sure deserved one after all the **** he went through with Harrold Ballard and the Leafs.
Also being one of the first Euros he was run and hit at every opportunity and he stuck it out.
Goalie: Although not a "great" goalie I always loved Ed Giacomin, and would have loved to have seen him hoist the cup.

Good point.
How about Brad Park? I don't think he ever won a Stanley Cup.
And CaliforniaSeal...Larmer won a Cup with the Rangers.

Not so fast. I wouldn't be surprised to see him sign on with a contender in the summer just to spit in the eye of the Leaf's ownership.

Could be. But over the years everything he has said, he has done.
If he says he can't be anything other than a leaf, I believe him. He did leave the window open when he basically said he would have to be with a team from the training camp to feel right. Who knows the guy could sign in the summer and be traded before training camp. He may decide to stay in Sweden and play for a local club if he doesn't resign with the Leafs.
Even still if he were to go after "market value" through free agency he would be too exspensive for most contending teams. With the year he is having $7M is easily within his reach in Free agency. The way Cliff sounded after the deadline, with his "face of the Franchise" comment who knows what will happen.

Mike Gartner was ripped off of his chance in 94 being traded for glen anderson.
