Well I am looking forward to this one since I am basically off now until after xmas as of tonight. These games are late in my house so watching and then rising at 6 AM can get tough.
I am looking for a good hard checking affair. I'd sure like to see the return of Nasty Ohlund. Maybe he could drop em with Morrow, that should get us off on the right foot. :thumb:
I like our chances tonight, the flu is on it's way out. People are feeling better, you could see it in the last outing. The speed of the call ups will be helpful against this Stars club too!
Enjoy!

Well, Luongo has given up just 5 goals in the 9 home games they've played since the fans gave him the raspberry against Nashville on November 1st, so Dallas is in tough. They'll need Turco in this one if they have any hopes of winning.
The Canucks are 7-0-2 in those 9 games. I really like that about Luongo. The fans here gave him the business during that Nashville game, and he didn't pout about it. He used it as motivation. Considering that he always gets stronger as the season wears on, the thought of how good he is going to be in March and April is scary. He might just give Espo's shutout record a run before the season is out.
I'll say 4-1 Vancouver tonight. It looks like the Sedin line is rolling again, so I'll say they do most of the scoring.

I am rooting for you. Mostly because I want the stars to stop getting points over the sharks:(

Damn PPV....
Dallas is the type of team to catch Vancouver off to a slow start to the game and they'll capitalize. The game against the Devils was impressive to say the least, but the Stars are surprisingly persistent when it comes to scoring chances. If we take a lead in the game I expect a comeback from Dallas. If we go down a goal or more after the 1st period I think Dallas should take the game.. statistically it appears they like to take a lead and sit on it. Not many games they've lost after leading through two periods. I'm going to say 3-2 Dallas, a courageous comeback by the Canucks falls short.

I'll miss this one because my drummer is having his twenty first birthday bash. Let me know how it goes if I wake up.

lol.. I know I was thinking that while watching the highlights last night. Dallas is a solid team and their record shows it. The Canucks are being successful and not letting me down this season... that's for sure.

I caught most of it on line as I worked around the house. It really opened up in the third. Memo to the Canucks don't let Roberto handle the puck outside his crease:laughing: .
