This is going to be a hellofa hockey game! Luongo.....what can be said. I hope the hockey God's walk with him today....it would go a long way for a lot of reasons. IE, team building, confidence etc etc. I hope he takes the all time record. I really do.

Gaborik is shooting hellfire however so with that said, Kesler's job is defined. Hopefully he's up for the task today. Late afternoon games can really suck. However, they're usually better for the road team.....

Have fun!

It is a PPV game so I will listen online. The Wild hate the Canucks, so this one should be physical.

Battle for first place tonight. Should we expect some interesting developments late in this game should the score separate?

Luongo is on a tear right now, and I see no reason why he or this team would let up in a battle for first place. The Canucks will win this one, and bingo bango bongo, goals never go by Luongo.

Well I had a feeling this one would be rough. I liked Cowan's efforts. It's why he's here and he pours his heart into everything. We need guys like him and I especially liked how he basically grabbed onto whoever he could after Luo got tapped. Good stuff....:thumb:

This was anyone's game however I must admit, once Luo was scored on, I wasn't feeling so hot. Everyone has downer games after a tear and that's what this was for the Canucks. Solid effort really, yet just no enough. The parade of penalties was a bit much too. Terrible. They really have to stop worrying about when and where games are played and start focusing on how badly the games are being called. It never fails, every time a game starts to find it's flow. BAM, so douche bag ref, usually young one, starts hammering teams with penalties. Garbage.

While I admit that I didn't follow this one at all, it seems to me that they didn't deserve to win, regardless of the officiating. They didn't get a shot on the PP all night, and spent too much time chasing the Wild rather than initiating. (And that's one PP goal since Salo returned to the lineup).

It's hard to complain about them taking a night off after the run they had in November. But with how close the conference is and winning the division now so important, I have a hard time seeing them take nights off against divisional opponents.

And BTW...they 'stand up' for Luongo and Cowan gets in two fights in the first period. Did they win the hockey game? They let the Wild get to them, and it cost them a huge two points. Not smart.

Bah, chance occurrence. They'd of lost anyway, they were due. Cowan rocks and you know you want a jersey! :thumb:
