Should be a hard hitting fast paced game filled with scoring chances at either end.

I think it will be great to see Bertuzzi back. I hope the GM Place faithful agree. Time moves forward and all involved seem to have, why shouldn't we fans....

I think the Canucks are going to remind the Ducks that 5 games last spring were just not enough....

thoughts?

I think the whole Bertuzzi thing will be a non-issue, despite the attempts at certain local media types at over-hyping it.

Bottom line, we have two of the hottest teams in the league facing off tonight, and I think the Canucks will get this one done. Luongo comes up with a big time performance, Naslund gets back on the score sheet and Pyatt pots a pair.

3-2 Canucks in OT.

As for my new avatar, I have just one thing to say...

BOO-WAA!

BTW, how weird is it that teams 3 through 8 in the west all have 26 points?

Two things Gordo:
1) Parity, I thought that was all part of Bettman's diabolical plan to ruin hockey.
2) Don't eat Yellow Snow!;)

Burke vs. Mini Burke

Hmmm. I think Mini Burke has this one. 3-1 Canucks. Naslund, Henrik and Isbister score. GM faithful will Boo Bootuzzi. Why? I don't know, but they will. Should be a good one though.

I'm sure Badcock will be complementary of the officiating not breaking down and making this game close.

The first credit that needs to be given for this game is to Roberto Luongo. He has two consecutive shutouts. What's even more important was that tonight's game is yet another thing to look at in your MVP voting. In the first period of this game Anaheim look pretty good, they damn well could have come away with a lead outshooting the Canucks by a wide margin and limiting them to two scoring chances.

Luongo however made some excellent saves and kept his team even at the period. His team then responded and came out in the next period scoring three goals. The point I'm trying to make is that this is an entirely different game if you've got a different goalie in net and you start the second session behind by two.

Naslund again spits in Dougie's face and scores a goal and sets up another. Now I'm disappointed he didn't drop 'em with Bert for a Gordie Howe hatrick which Badcock thinks he'll go crazy and get one day.

Kesler, his effort paid off dividends for him tonight. What does he get for getting back up after that "criminal with a good back" Pronger cheap shots him. A chance to shut down his oppositions tough line and finish a game with two goals.

Oh and a real MVP does what Luongo does and turns the game in the favor of his team. A **** like Pronger takes a cheap shot which draws the refs attention and puts his team in the box for the rest of the game.

The Canucks withstood the charge in the first with Luongo stopping 15 shots, and the refused to be drawn into the fray by the Ducks chirping and cheap shots. Ryan Kesler and Alex Edler played very strong games. A nice win against a good team that even the record at home finally.
