I never would have thought one month into the season that the Rangers would be the league's lowest scoring team :confused:


Good news is they are also amon the best defensive teams allowing fewer than 2 goals per game. Lundqvist has been great. I think the offense will come - the team will need some time to gel with all the new faces, in particular the big two.

I would also like the team to have a little more attitude. Looking forward to Avery's return for that.

Maybe Nylander did more for Jagr than many of us thought.

I'd say the Rags are going to be in trouble if they are expecting guys like Chris Drury to be major pieces of their offensive puzzle. Drury is an excellent checking center and he can score in the clutch, but he doesn't reguarly put up big points.

Jagr, Gomez, and Shanahan are going to have to shoulder more of the load for this team offensively.
