AHL affiliate sub forums

I have decided that the early stages of this web site do not warrant having an AHL affiliate sub-forum for each and every NHL franchise at this time. For the most part, they were not being used and were a waste of space and bandwidth.

3 AHL forums (Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver) did receive significant usage and will remain in place. All others have been removed for now.

Again, this is to save bandwidth and resources in the early going. If you're team forum gets active enough and enough people ask it... I will add an AHL sub-forum for that team. (only if the demand is there).

My guess is that if/when the NHL does resume those subforums will likely receive no traffic either.

Some of the AHL sub forums will see action next season, much like some of the team threads, unless Kings, Duck, Thrasher, Blue Jacket etal fans come crawling out of the wood work. Much like Flames fans started invading other forums last spring :laughing: :pimp:
