I was just thinking of a funny situation which could present itself. After the psychodrama of last year wouldnt it be something if it ended up being Emery vs Hasek in the Cup final, or Hasek in net vs the Senators. :laughing:

I think a more interesting footnote that with Alfredson and Lidstrom as Captains, the myth of the Euro-captain meaning a team will not win the Cup will go the way of the myth of the African-American quaterback.

Hasek got hurt during the Olympics so it had nothing to do with his effort while a Senator.

If Hasek is able to play like he does because of a prescription drug that Eugene Melnyk, owner of the Senators, produces at his drug company, Biovail, that would be funny.

The Sens winning the cup and me being able to rub another year of futility of the Leafs into the face of one of my friends, that would be funny.

The Sens winning the cup before I find a girlfriend, that would be funny.

Bob Cole and the rest of Leafland crying because the Sens won the cup, that would be funny.

Harry Neale butchering more players' names is funny.

Hasek suffering a season ending injury in game one of the final would be funny.

Scotiabank lowering ATM fees after the Sens win the cup, that would be funny or shocking.

Hasek getting injured by the guy he injured playing roller hockey a few years ago, that would be funny.

Sens winning the series in 4 straight and scoring 20 or more goals on Hasek, that would be funny.
