- Close call here, but I'm going with Malkin because he finished first in scoring in rookies, played about a minute more per game than Stastny

- If it's about who's the best player of the 3, it's obviously Brind'Amour, but defensively, I voted for Samuel Pahlsson, possibly the most underrated player in the league.

Hart:

- No doubt Luongo. The Devils have a much better team overall than Vancouver and if you take one of those players away from their team, Vancouver is the one that will be suffering the most.

- Alain Vigneault deserves to be nominated but Lindy Ruff saw his team go through so many injuries to key guys but the team still kept on winning.

- If you only look at penalty minutes, Datsyuk only has 20 all year, but considering the points, I give it to Martin St-Louis with his 43 goals, 102 points and 28 PIM.

- This is tough to predict as it's voted by the NHLPA. I'll have to go with my MVP.

- Pretty tough to win the Hart as the best player in the league and not the Vezina.

Nothing against Brodeur he had yet another terrific season... but I went with Luongo for the Hart because I think he truly carried his team a lot more than Brodeur did.

Why not give Luongo the Hart and Brodeur the Vezina? Well how many goalies take home the Hart without also taking home the Vezina? None in my lifetime.

Hart: Crosby, Luongo, Brodeur....He played in a higher scoring conference and had better numbers than Luongo. Tthe Canucks also gave Luongo more goal support as they scored 222 goals, as compared to 216 for the Devils. Only 5 teams scored less goals than the Devils, none of those teams made the playoffs. Better numbers and less support equals MVP to me.

Calder: Malkin, Staal, Stastny....Malkin was great this year. I really don't think there is any debating this one.

Selke: Brind'Amour, Pahlsson, Pandolfo....Gotta go with what I know, and I know that I hate seeing the Madden/Pandolfo pair.

Adams: Ruff, Therrien, Vigneault....Therrien took a team that was a disgrace and turned it into a legit playoff team in a year. This team is young and the run they went on to push the Devils for the division lead at the end of the year was what clinched this for Therrien, IMO.

Norris: Lidstrom, Pronger, Niedermayer....Pronger had this pretty much wrapped up before he got hurt. But unfortunately, he did get hurt and Lidstrom didn't. Not to say that Lidstrom doesn't deserve it though, because he most certainly does.

Byng: Datsyuk, Sakic, St. Louis....Who cares? Give it to the HOFer.

Pearson: Crosby, Lecavalier, Luongo....Most outstanding player, how could you not give it to the 19 year old phenom? Led the league in points and he's younger than me. That really upsets me.

Vezina: Brodeur, Luongo, Lundqvist, Kiprusoff....Once again, Brodeur had the better numbers in the conference where it was harder to do that.

Personal favorite as I have him in a sim league, but it will likely go to Malkin.

Coaching mainly young players into a battle for a Division title is impressive.

Norris: Lidstrom, Pronger, Niedermayer
Pronger didn't play enough games for my liking and Neidermayer had a bad +/-but all 3 are deserving.

No Brodeur and he is my #2 for MVP.

Just barely edges out Luongo again.

Kudos to Lundqvist for being a Vezina nomination two years in a row now. I honestly dont think there is any chance he wins it this year(nor was there really last year)but still for a young goaltender to be a nomination 2 years in a row is impressive.
