According to this: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/baseball/mlb/04/27/steroids.plead.ap/index.html
A former Mets clubhouse employee pleads guilty in a streiod distribution scandal. No names of any clients/players yet. Funny how I seem to recall being told that it was every other team in all other sports that had juiced up players :slant:
There again everything I know about being smug I observed form those who don't/can't play here any more.
Its really no suprise and I blame Bud Selig for letting things get out of hand because it should never have gone this far!
It seems like there were lots of clients and its only a matter of time before the names start becoming public. This is only the beggining and looks like we'll be hearing about this for years, this is massive news!
Cheers

Wow way to really dig there.
1) This individual "worked in the clubhouse", meaning he could have just vacuumed the floor without any access to players.
2) "They believe he began distributing the performing-enhancing drugs after his employment."
3) During this time, steroids weren't illegal in MLB. So even if the entire 1986 roster was roided-up it wouldn't matter as no rules were broken.
4) No Met players were or have been mentioned on the receiving end.
5) As for Mark's ignorant remark about my opinion about certain NFL players who enjoy the needle (*cough* Merroidman *cough*), that's different because the NFL doesn't allow it - so he's a cheat and should be banned from the game.
Nice try guys!

For a guy who vaccumed the carpets Senator Mitchell found what he had to say useful: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/baseball/mlb/
How does Bud Selig keep his job? Then again how does Gary Bettman:shrug:
Roger Clemens we hardly knew ye... well, actually that's not quite true - in fact we know him pretty damn well!

Gee I thought it was because the Rocket was such a "Fierce" Competitor.
Actually with the accomplishments of the players not named, it gives me more respect for Ken Griffey Jr, Derek Jeter, Mike Piazza, Vlad Guerrero, even Alex Rodriquez. Top players of this era and not a mention in the report or hint of steriod use that I have encountered.
