Sturmie likes playing here and is happy with deal and the B's committment to winning. Sturm and has been on a hot streak, too. Good thing, because the Bs need him to stay hot down the stretch. But, even if the Black-and-Gold fade from the playoff picture, it's best to have him signed because we need some consistency in the roster from year to year.
My only concern is his defense--he's a minus-18 on a team whose worst plus/minus is a minus-23. We'll forget all about that if Bruins make it to the post-season and then beyond the first round.
