The NYR's have put Kasperitus on waivers which isn't much of a suprise but I think this guy can still help some teams *cough Leafs cough*!

Don't do it. He's really sliding downhill fast.

He was sent down to Hartford for conditioning a few months ago - and lately he's been a healthy scratch on a team that is already severely thin at the blue line.

For half the price Kasper could be a good depth player for a Stanley Cup contending team.I think he'd do well in Pittsburgh.

I guess what I'm trying to say is....

The Rangers defense is plain horrible. When they waive an established guy, take that as a really, really bad sign.
