At the risk of sounding like somebody else here ;) , but I disagree with Merriman being named. He was suspended for 4 games for violation of the substance abused policy. I realize the game itself is a joke and really just an excuse to party in Hawaii, but if these policies are to have any effect then leagues cannot turn a blind eye, say well he served his punishement let us move on. T.O. was not voted to the team becasue I think the players coaches and media that vote did not want the distraction that is Owens spoiling their fun. Merriman deserves to sit home as well.

If Merriman's suspension extended through the Pro Bowl, then he shouldn't be in. The Pro Bowl is a recognition of the best players. Shawne Merriman is easily one of the top 3 OLBs in the game right now. TO may not have been voted in because of his attitude but really, he hasn't been like his normal self. His consistently dropped passes has cost him a spot in the Pro Bowl.

I was a bit surprised Rivers got the 3rd and final AFC QB spot over Brady. I am even more surprised Romo would get the 3rd NFC QB spot over Vick. Vick's performance is actually much improved over other years he was a bogus pick and this year he even arguably deserves to make it and doesnt for a kid who played just over half the season.
