Lately I've been watching more Habs games on RDS, at my brothers place

He's going anyway for a couple of months, so I'll be staying at his place..

This means more RDS :D

Whenever I flip the channel watching the Leaf game I always flip it to RDS instead of the other CBC feed of the Habs game.I find RDS to be more clearer than the CBC feed,does anybody else notice this too or is it just my tv?

Yup! I get all 82 Habs games for $12 a year with Bell ExpressVu! :thumb:

Oh and Hack, I wouldn't know as I've given up on CBC (at least their early coverage) a loooonnng time ago. See the CBC schedule thread for more info. :boogie:

Is that a Habs version of Leaf tv and/or do they just rebroadcast CBC/RDS telecasts? I'm on Star Choice and don't recall seeing such a package.

I'll watch the HNIC pre-game(s) show on HD then switch to CBC Ottawa for the Sens matchup when it starts at 5:00 pm Mountain. Anything but CBC HD to avoid the Leaf-homerism that is shoved down our throats on a weekly basis.

A couple of years ago, RDS (French TSN) outbid SRC (French CBC) for the rights to broadcast the Habs games on Saturday night. RDS was already showing most weeknight games and SRC still had the Saturday nights.

So to answer your question, it is the live independant broadcast of all Habs games, just like TSN. With ExpressVu, I already had the Sports package (not NHL center ice package) and for an additional $1 per month, they gave me RDS all year around. :thumb:

Up here in Thunder Bay we are force fed the Leafs evry time there is a game on. For some reason french CBC never picked up the habs this year, someone should be hanged for that. Just ordered RDS, don't speak more than 3 sentences of french but will do anything to watch the habs.
