With there being 5 QBs who could potentialy go in the first 2 rounds of the draft this year, which 5 teams do you think would be the 5 to pick one up if indeed all 5 go in the first 2 rounds this year?

Vote for 5 different teams.

Like I said previously ask me in December.

Detriot and Oakland will need to take QBs to be the immediate future.

Teams like Minnesota, Baltimore, and Kansas City would need guys that can take over in a year or shorter with the age they have at starting QB.

I voted for:
Baltimore - Not now, because McNair has done more than what they expected, but he is getting older.
Cleveland - They need a lot of things though.
Detroit - Get a young quarterback to throw to those young receivers and the Lions become a threat in a couple years.
Kansas City - Trent Green needs to be replaced sooner rather than later.
Oakland - Duh!

I didn't vote for:
Carolina - Delhomme will still be there for a while.
Chicago - No. Grossman, Orton, Griese.
Dallas - I believe Tony Romo is the real deal.
Tampa Bay - Chris Simms will get healthy and help this team win again.
Other - Never heard of them.

Minnesota drafted Tarvaris Jackson in the 2nd round last year. He is probably their starting QB when Johnson retires.

Most would agree the Vikes reached for Jackson, and isn't close to being a surefire bet to start in this league. I don't think them drafting another QB is out of the question, but it'll probably be a mid-round guy.

I'm not sure if 5 even go in the first two rounds this year. Quinn and Stanton will definitely go high in the draft. I'm not sure if the Raiders are as big a lock for Quinn as some might think though. Andrew Walter has a big arm and I think the Raiders might see him as their future starter (it all depends on how he looks during the season though). If Walter proves to be the real deal I think they might be tempted to go with the left tackle out of Wisconsin. The Jets were another team that looked like they needed a QB, but Pennington has played well so far and they have a lot of money tied up in him.

Kansas and Detroit should be locks for a QB. Who they get depends on what Oakland does at the top of the draft, and whether or not Brian Brohm looks like he's worth a first rounder when he comes back from injury.

John David Booty is only a Junior, and Chris Leak probably won't be picked in the first two rounds. That only leaves Troy Smith, and I don't where he'll go in draft. He's a bit undersized for the QB position, but he's shown he can be a great passer in college and win the big game. If The Ohio State University goes undefeated and wins the National Championship there's a good chance he'll go in the second round, but I don't see him climbing up into the first.

The picture will be a lot clearer at the end of the season.
