Custom Status

Currently, the gen. pop. has status according to their post count eg: MVP, Captain, etc.. Really, no one HERE gives a hoot about that. I suggest that we be allowed to select a name/comment in place of the current member status. Chances are that none of them will reference a post count.

What is the general consenus?

The custom title privlege was primarily reserved for winners of pools or the now defunct question of the month.

But we haven't handed any out in quite some time so I see no problem with letting everybody pick their own.

I would still prefer that new members have the "New Member" title for a probationary period, either based on length of membership, post count or both, then get the custom title once established. I'll look into that when I get a chance and see what I can do.

You know what the sick (meaning not well) thing is? I was over at a buddy's place and his computer's desktop is a big picture of Elisha Cuthbert, and the first thing I think about is PDO. Damn guy! He's ruined her for me. I can no longer look at her without thinking about B and his avatar.

It is meaningless and I would be for having it removed. But for the time being Yay to custom user titles. Although I did earn mine guessing the number of saves Luongo would have in a month. I do anticipate that number going down significantly starting in October.
