"Lenny" never got over the Lidstrom goal in 2002. He may have won 30 games or more 3 years in a row, but the fans never forgave him and he never really stole a game or two for the Canucks at a critical time. Given the available goalies I thought he would have ended up on waivers and the Canucks would have taken the cap hit. All in all a good move, although LA now has a log jam with Cloutier, Labarbera and Garon.

Best of luck to Clouts,he played well and got a raw deal from some fans!
This is a good thing for the Canucks, maybe now they can re-sign Carter with this money!
Cheers

Well said Mr. Hack
Goodluck to Cloutier. He was a good guy, just playing on the wrong team
