Good deal for both sides. Bogut and Charlie will give the Bucks a good young frontcourt to build around. For the Raps, it's hard to see CV3 go, but Ford is a young, quick, playmaking point guard. We gave up something good for sure, but I'm sure the fans of T.O. will fall in love Ford. Now we just need some signings in free agency to give us some help at SF/SG and we should be good for a playoff run.

I like this deal. Who's going to play SF now though? Is there much on the market because we have lots to spend.

Worst-case scenario we have Bargnani/Graham at SF, which isn't bad since the Raps are still suppose to be rebuilding. However, it'd be nice to get a vet in there and see if this can make a run at the playoffs.

Why does it suck. We get one of the higher tempo players in the NBA who is a true #1, which is something the Raptors have longed for many years.

It is unfortunate that Charlie V had to go, but to get better you have to give up value. Besides, it is starting to get pretty crowded up front for the Raptors.

Why not sign and trade James to try and get a decent SF? Now that I think about it, thats probably what BC is working on. I dont want Bargnani at SF, not sure if he's quick enough.

Dallas gave James an offer sheet. Not sure if he signed it yet, but I doubt the Raps would match it. They'd risk not being able to trade him and getting stuck with the headache for 5 years.

Honestly, I'm not sure who the Raps might get to play SF next year. It'd probably have to be through trade though, since I don't see anything on the free agent market.

I've been hearing stuff about Al Harrington, but he doesn't really wow me. I'd rather just let Graham and Bargnani play and develop for a year, and see what's available later on. We signed some guy from Europe too. I forget his name, but he should give us some solid minutes at SF/PF.

Oh yeah, Garbosa or something like that.

I heard that the Mavs want James but they don't have the cap space, so they're interested in a sign and trade. All speculation ofcourse.
