The Wild had better make a bold move or they will be also rans in the Nothwest again.

Well, Calgary just got a whole lot better. They play one of the best defensive games in the league, they have one of the best goaltenders in the league, and now with someone to compliment Iginla, they are lethal.

LOL, this is a very good deal for Calgary as they get a proven scorer which is what they needed.
And WTF is up with the Flames and Avs being constant trading partners??? Are they not in the same divison? I guess they must've missed the don't trade in the same divison memo

The Wild had better make a bold move or they will be also rans in the Nothwest again. I know it is bad form to quote yourself but Pavol Demitra is now on the Wild and their offence just got better, as the TSN crew said the deal is essentially Roloson for Demitra.

I don't know what Edmonton will do in that NW division next year..

What's the deal with Gaborik? He's not signed is he?

RFA I think. I think that with Demitra on his line it may get him to stay.

You are correct on both counts there.

Demitra and Gaborik on the same line could be a deadly combination for the Wild, assuming Jacques Lemaire doesn't put the restraints on them. Every team in the NW has made a move now except for the Oilers, and they'll probably move Pronger at some point this offseason. No rest for the wicked I guess.
The NW is truly becoming a war zone in the NHL. That division alone now has Kiprusoff, Luongo, Fernandez, Theodore, and Roloson as starting goaltenders.

and given each team sees each other 8 times with back to back could potentially be great hockey out here this season, not that the east will notice :wicked:

I wouldn't go that far
The flames still dont have a No.1 center. Sutter will have to make a few more moves to be successful
