Per the score ticker.. he had a CT scan come back negative.

Always hate to see a serious injury like this knock out a player; especially a guy like Cole. That said, from everything I've heard he should be back as good as ever next year... so that gets a big :thumb: .

I'm a Cole fan and thank god he will play again. He was very close to being a quadrapelegic - VERY close. He dodged a bullet big time.

He has even skated with the team recently. His road back to health has been pretty remarkable. At 27, he's got good years ahead of him... so if he can't make a late playoff comeback this season, so be it. Life is still good.
