Elias just scored a beauty on the PP to make it 1-0.

Jagr with a great pass, Prucha with some great finish and it's a 1-1 game on two PP goals.

Hey, guess where I am right now? At work.:curse: :curse:

Nice to see the Devils up 3-1 though. Hopefully they won't blow it by the time I can check in next. I really shouldn't be using the computer I am, but it's the playoffs.

Rags can't buy a break.. hit the post, NJD goes the other way and scores on a deflection. Ouch.

Dizzle, 2nd intermission and I am right now disgusted. Not because the Rangers are losing and not because I think they're getting the shaft from the refs any more so than the devils.

There has been almost NO 5-5 play! literally it's a freakin power play contest. Why don't we just go straight to a shootout and be done with it. There has been zero flow as far as matching lines and normal hockey strategy. It's all power play and penalty kill. :curse:

Through 2 periods? 15 minors called already!

I really want the Rangers to win this series. I hope Lundquist is able to play his best after his injury, and Jagr uses losing both points titles in the final week as real motivation. GO RANGERS!!!

I think Gary Bettman may have screwed the playoffs up early by making that "The game will be called the same, or else..."statement. They're calling things that look like penalties, rather than calling actual penalties. Perfect example, in the first period of today's game (I was able to catch most of the first), they called a penalty on Moore because from behind it looked like he held Janssen up, when in reality it was two guy's playing physically along the boards.

More things were being late go late in the season than they are now, and it's getting really frustrating to watch...

Well that was a total freakin disaster for the Rangers. Unreal. that's all I have to say.

NJ was what 5 for 15 on the power play or something like that? If you look in the encyclopedia on how to hand away a hockey game, they should have a picture of what just happened.

Only game 1, things could be different in game 2 but Jagr had some mysterious left arm/shoulder problem that appeared serious in the final minutes that sent him to the locker room and no word yet. If Jagr's gone then so are the Rangers.

For those (Brodeur included) making ridiculous claims that the league wants the Rangers in the finals so they will get favored by the refs... look no further than the joke of a game that just happened.

I think it's safe to say the Rangers are not getting preferential treatment from the refs.

That's not to say they were getting bad calls (only a few were bad IMO) but they were certainly not getting a free pass. Everything was called.

I read Brodeur's statement and it was ridiculous. The league giving favortism to the Rangers, ROTFL!

Where did Brodeur say anything about there being "favoritism" towards the Rangers? Just because he said the NHL would like to see them in the Finals? Unless this is a different statement I didn't hear? Is it so hard to believe that the NHL would like it if the Rangers made it to the Finals? I'm not saying there is a "conspiracy" or anything, but I think the NHL would probably enjoy having the Rangers do well...

Becareful Dev, or you will have to try and explain how market size is directly related to money generated, and how it is all about the money.
