I'm currently watching game 1. I'm pretty disappointed no one has posted anything regarding this season yet. My team for the playoffs will be Calgary. 3rd just started and the Flames are up by 1.

I think the Flames will take this series, but not easily. It'll be a battle between the past cinderellas.

Quack, quack, quack. I'm in Calgary right now and hate it. Abouyt 25% of the cars have double flames flags...where were all these fans three years ago when the team was struggling to stay afloat.

Funny how the Flames could only score two goals on the Ducks' minor league call-up. Oilers won today, so a Flames loss tonight would make up for the agony from Friday night.

Go Flames Go.You should have joined me in the big city tonight, Rusty. Driving down 17th Avenue ("Red Mile" sic) was a blast, quacking the whole way. :laughing: Good win for the Mighty Ducks tonight. Glad they could hang on and hope they can win both at The Pond this week.

Busy.

I rarely jump around from bandwagon to bandwagon. I have liked the Flames since Lanny played for them. I just don't go out and announce it to the world. Much the same with regards to my more hated teams, I do not go around slamming the Sens/Canucks just because, I choose for the most part to stay out of discussions invloving certain teams that I do not see enough of. Also seeing as I just moved to the Calgary area it is pretty hard to ignore them.

Also I like the Flames goaltending, Kipper is arguably the best in the League, which is a lot more then I can say about some other teams (my Leafs included in that list of poor golatending), and I have always loved to watch Iginla play.

I want the BoA. I want to pound Calgary into submission and shut their fans up. I don't care if it goes 6 or goes 7, as long as Edmonton and Colorado win - go Calgary.

And be prepared for the fight of your life in round 2.

I just can't. Getting laughed at because I said I was going to want Calgary to win.. then started swearing and cheering for Anaheim anyway.

I'm going for the Flames, mainly just because people are constantly bitching about their "defensive" style. Calgary vs New Jersey in the Finals would make me happy because it would piss a lot of people off.:nod:

I would love to see an all Canadian final.

On second thought, I'd rather see San Jose vs New Jersey. I'm tired of hearing this "all Canadian Final" crap, especially considering they only make up 1/5 of the entire NHL.:wicked: :stir:

Hmm, tough decision tonight. On one hand, I'd love to see a Battle of Alberta for the first time in 15 years and I do believe Edmonton has a better chance of beating Calgary than San Jose. However, I am in strong support of the ABC bandwagon and the sooner the Flames are out, the better. So here's hoping for a game that goes in six OTs.

Anaheim v Colorado now.

Hmmm, it just doesn't feel like it is going to be as exciting as Edmonton v. San Jose.

Be interesting to see how far Bryzy can take the Ducks.

Too bad, it would have been nice to see a Battle of Alberta.

Overall boring game, the Ducks played a perfect road game, and Calgary's inability to score beyond the first line killed them.

Overall boring game

It was hard to believe that it was a "do or die" game for the Flames. I have never seen them play such a dull game.:snore:

The Flames relied all season on getting a goal and then milking the lead with defence and Kipper. They were one of the lowest scoring teams all year. It bit them when a team played their game and they lacked the fire power to overcome it.
