Firstly, isn't it nice to have the sun shining, the birds singing, the weather beautifull, and playoff hockey back!
That said, here is the HS 2006 Playoff Pool. I've decided to change things up for this one over the past ones I've done. Here's how it works:

Assign numerical value of 1-16 for each team, with 16 being the team you think will win the Cup and 1 being the team who you think will be out the quickest
Each time a team wins, you recieve the value you assigned to that team in points
Guess the total amount of goals scored in the whole Stanley Cup playoffs


So if you think that Montreal will Carolina you would assign the Canes 1. If you think that Dallas is going to win the Cup you would assign them 16. Please post any questions in this thread, and PM me your picks when by Friday April 21st, 2006, 5 PM east.

Here's the teams and 1st round match-ups for reference...


EAST
Ottawa vs Tampa Bay
Carolina vs Montreal
New Jersey vs NY Rangers
Buffalo vs Philadelphia
WEST
Detroit vs Edmonton
Dallas vs Colorado
Calgary vs Anaheim
Nashville vs San Jose

Doesn't matter when a team goes out, just who wins the most games.

When you assign the 16, that's the the team you believe will win 16 games. When assigning the 1, give it to the team you believe will be swept in the first round.

Yeah, pretty much. The scoring I'm still a little confused on, but after a couple games I'll know where I stand :thumb:
