Slovakia was so much better than the Czechs in the round robin, I know they were in seperate pools but watching the two teams play various games there was no comparision. Yet in the quarters the Czechs dominate play until the 3rd period and win pretty easily. Did the Slovakians choke, and were they intimidated by playing their former stronger half of the country thing, or was it just the Czechs lying in the weeds and waiting to play better in the playoffs, only doing what they needed to get out of round robin?
