Just got the news. Ohlund has 3 cracked OR 3 broken ribs. Both have been reported and I've got no clue what to believe - maybe you Nuckleheads know?. A "good" crack to one of Alfie's weeks kept him out for about 2 weeks IIRC. So 3 cracks for Ohlund, maybe 3-4 weeks. :shrug: That wouldn't be too bad as the Olympics are going for a while yet. Fingers crossed for you uys. Broken ribs likely see him done for the year.

The NHL shouldn't have let it's players go after the lockout IMO. Sure, if there was no extended lay-off then let them represent their countries, but the big break has been causing crazy amounts of injuries already. Players playing so many games in such short time spans was just asking for trouble.

As for the US game, they handed it to the Fins with undisciplined play, and didn't take advantage on the PP enough to win this one. They played well for the most part, but came undone with penalties in the third. Although that 4 minute double minor on Hatcher was a complete load of bullshit.:curse:

Oh well, I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of team the US puts together in 2010.:thumb:
