Gerber given slap in the face by Swiss!

Gerber started the first game for the Swiss in net vs Finland, although he was pulled. He has had a better year in the NHL than Aebischer however who temporarily lost his starting job with Colorado, in fact they had to bring somebody new in. Gerber in his game with Canada of course made 49 saves for the shutout win, yet Aebischer has started the last two games. So starting the tournament as the starter presumably, since all countries start their starter in the first game, and putting on some an exceptional performance against Canada he is still demoted to backup behind the inferior Aebischer, that is a HUGE SLAP in the FACE! That is so wrong, so idiotic, so stupid, so unfair. I am so glad the dumb Swiss have tied their last two games against weaker countries, it serves then right after the huge insult and slap in the face they gave to Gerber after his amazing performance against Canada. I know he doesnt play like that everday of course, but I bet if they had him in net instead of the inferior Aebischer they would have won their last two games against Germany and Italy. Serves the idiot Swiss right!

What you are thinking I am anti-Swiss? If I was anti-Swiss I would want them to start the weaker goalie so they lose every game, and that is what they are doing, playing the weaker goalie almost every game, even though the better goalie played an awesome game in his last outing. Frankly I dont care one way or the other about the Swiss, but I hate to see unfairness, and the Swiss deserve trouble in their last two games for the huge slap in the face they gave Gerber.

Yes, he didn't play in the third on one of the games over the weekend (I forget which one). Not sure if he was benched or injured:shrug:

Well I am glad to see the idiot Swiss clobbered. If they had used Gerber in one of the final two round robin games he would have been alot sharper for the quarters, it is stupid to use your starting goalie for only 2 of 5 round robin games, and neither of the last two round robin games, no other team did that but them. Needing a rest is no excuse since no goalie needs two games rest before the quarters. Glad to see dumb Swiss out.
