I thought for sure tradition was going to win out on this one, but I'm sure glad I was wrong. Liverpool defeted Man U to move into the next round of play in the FA Cup. Go Lads!! Hope Smithy is ok, that looked bad :(

Its Game Day!! Ok I will if I have to go PPV as that is the only way to view this game. 2nd choice is out as I have 2 kids and I don't think it would go over well if I took them to the Cock and Bull. 3rd choice is becoming more of an option, as right now I have the pre-game feed on BBC5.

Its a damn shame that a game that will probably go down as one of the best FA Cup finals ever had to be decided by penalty kick. Glad the lads won but if it not for the heroics of Steven Gerrard, this game would have ended in regulation. Players were dropping like flies in a dust of raid and Liverpool were down to 10 men after using up all their subs early. I under estimated the lads from West Ham, they deserved to win it.

Now I drink a pint of boddingtons to the boys from Liverpool!!!

I finally saw highlights of this match.

I must admit it was eerily similar to Liverpool's Champions League win last year. Also last year's FA Cup went to penalties as well with ManU losing, if I remember correctly. I wish this wasn't a PPV game or I would have liked to have seen it.

Congrats to the Reds and Amo for yet another win. Hopefully Gerrard's amazing leadership shows up for England next month.
