I'm starting a fantasy baseball league at Yahoo! for all interested.

Just click join a custom league and they will ask for the ID# and password The ID# is 51383 and the password is hockey.

I got a live draft going for March 12th at 8:30. If there is anything you don't like about the stats or whatever tell me and I will look into changing it. Otherwise, bite me cause I'm new to this.:thumb:

If anyone can handle another fantasy baseball team - I'm running a 10 team league that needs one more manager.

This league is not for the hard core... some of the managers are beginners, and nobody is overly serious. But it's fun because you can field a much better team when there's only 10 in the the league.

It's head to head and the draft is at noon ET on Saturday March 25 (for those not aware, the draft is optional - you don't have to be online for it)

Same as the number of fantasy baseball teams he has: eight.

But the numbers McGuinness and an estimated 16 million fantasy fans nationwide depend on to manage their dream teams - from home runs to RBIs - could become a lot harder and more expensive to get if Major League Baseball has its way....


Well if MLB wins this expect the other major sports leagues to follow suit. Hopefully a judge throws this out and slaps Selig with a big wet noodle!

You have to buy Stattracker to see the stats. The give a free trial for the first week or so, but then you have to pay for it.

A strong Sunday saved my @ss. I cameback in 3 categories, including winning the WHIP by 0.01, and the ERA by 0.07. :relief: Still barely hanging on to first.

I finished 5th in both h2h leagues and currently 2nd in my roto league. A huge improvement over last year.

Dye and Soriano picked a fine time to go into hitting slumps. That's ok I picked up the #1 draft pick overall who is on one heck of a hot streak to make up for them.

Just watch Glavine, an ex-Chump, will throw a no-hitter or something this week after stinking up the joint for the last 2-1/2 months.

At any rate it has been a blast other than half the league disappearing by mid-july.

Too bad most of my team went AWOL for the last 2 weeks. It would have been nice to have had a real close battle.

2nd place isn't bad, considering I really didn't have clue when we were drafting. Pure luck of the draw, a couple of carreer years,(Thank you Mr 40-40-40 Alfonso Soriano & Jermaine Dye), some fine play by some rookies, (Uggla, Kinsler, James) and one player that got hot and won me some weeks in April almost single handed, (Shelton). There were really only two picks on my team that I would say weren't simply luck of the draw and that was Dave Bush who I believe was my last pick and Chris Carpenter who I belive was my first pick. Other than those two I basically went by Yahoo rankings. Ofcourse I did work my butt off adding and dropping players. Anyway Congrats again. :thumb:

Seriously though, I would never act like I knew what I was doing in baseball as it's my least favorite of the big 4 sports and I pay attention to it the least.

I also placed 3rd in my other 2 leagues, one was public and the other was Daryl's league. So I guess I just had a lucky baseball season.
