Gold Medal: Canada (of course!)
Silver Medal: Slovakia (Budaj? oh well.)
Bronze Medal: Russia

There is no way the Czechs will do any worse than silver. The Czechs and Canada clearly have the two best teams, and most depth of any country. If they are not 1-2 in some order something happened that really shouldnt have happened, those two should be way out ahead. The U.S.A should not be on the podium, but Sweden is weakened by some withdrawals, and Finland by goaltending withdrawals. They still should not medal over Sweden, Finland, Russia, or even Slovakia, but the U.S.A way I just expect to way overperform, just a feeling I have.

Gold is a toss up between the Czechs and Canada.

The Czechs have sucked so far. I wish I could change my predictions.
Slovakia was always way underrated, and the Americans way overrated. The Americans still have a very good team but clearly inferior to the Russians, Slovaks, and Sweden. I was not that surprised at their tie with Latvia, the U.S should really only be 4th in that pool. I am surprised people talked about Slovakia as if they were a lock to be only 4th in their pool. The Americans dont have near the creative super skilled forwards the Slovaks have.

I warned everyone about the Slovaks! They where not under-rated by me. :D

The Slovaks shouldn't be underrated by anyone who even remotely follows International Hockey. After Canada, they can put a group of forwards on the ice as talented as anybody. They're problem is they don't have an elite goaltender.
