Aaron Williams Traded!!!!

Well Wayne Embry didn't take long to get his hands on the team. He moved Aaron Williams to the Hornets today for two second round picks. Pretty good trade for a guy that was dead weight. This move will give my man Pape Sow more playing time too:nod: :thumb:

Yep, a decent move by the new/interim GM of the Raps, he saw a player who was not playing and was basically doing nothing to improve the team. Now if he can trim down the other Williams(Eric), Hoffa, and Loren Woods and get anything out of them, it will finally get us going into the right direction.

Now the team has shipped off Rose and a first (probably Denver's) for Davis. Another solid move by Embry. I would have preferred to keep the first, but in a weak draft year the Denver first will probably mean giving a guaranteed contract to a second round talent. Whereas the 15 million dollars of cap relief we get this offseason can be used to sign a big name free agent, which will be a lot better than picking 20th to 25th in the draft. Also, by having the cap room to sign somebody you might be able to convince Bosh to sign long-term this summer, instead of dragging this out over next season and having him ultimately walk in the summer.
